It's easy to find fault with someone and tear them down to be a bit closer to your level, but what do you gain? Absolutely nothing. In fact you actually lose.

Sure there's the risk that who ever you help will use you as a stepping stool, but that reveals them for the person they are. You're only a fool if you keep going back for more.

If you help someone else rise you'll be richer for it, unless you start out sizing up what you'll get in return. You should be do something because it makes you feel good, not for what you think you deserve to get out of it.
