I read somewhere sometime that you should write as if you’re already dead meaning you should write as if you don’t have to worry about criticism or consequences.

I say you should write as if you’re dying and this is your one chance to leave an impression. Do you go all out and recklessly throw something together? Or do you go out with a surge of brutal honesty bereft of regret? I think if you’re satisfied with good enough then you’ve got room for improvement. What do you want people to think after you’re gone?
