Speaking of online forums I should mention that they can be invaluable. It's not necessarily the knowledge and experience in the forums that makes the difference, though there are at times plenty of both. More helpful is the differing interpretations and opinions people share.

The key is to not look at the forums as being filled with people who are better than you. It's all opinion and as long as you don't take anything said personally you'll do just fine.

And if you feel compelled to challenge a comment? First ask yourself how will your reply benefit you?
