Ever since I can remember, my Mom wrote. A cigarette in one hand, cup of coffee in the other, and always her fingers banging away on the typewriter. Some of her poems were whimsical while others were deadly serious.
Mom always wanted to gather the poems together and put them on "the computer" as she often said. She wanted to edit them, continue them, add new poems. Fortunately I began scanning her typewritten pages in before she passed away in 2002. Unfortunately, I thought much of her work had been lost, but recently came upon a floppy disk containing copies of everything I had scanned in. Adding in what others were able to contribute, the collection is as complete as it is going to be.
